Suzy Wong's is a restaurant based in Nashville, TN.
design brief
Specializing in Asian fusion cuisine, Suzy Wong's House of Yum launched in 2009 as a full service restaurant offering Lunch, Dinner, and Late Night menus. As tastes began to shift, the business launched a drag brunch in 2014. After the pandemic, and the loss of a dedicated restaurant space, Suzy Wong's House of Yum re-opened as Suzy Wong's Drag'n Brunch, a pop-up restaurant concept offering drag brunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays exclusively.
With the change in concept came a full brand redesign. The logo was simplified for better scalability. I chose playful, vibrant colors and a retro-modern typeface to match the new upbeat, party experience that the restaurant is now known for.
